Selection of natural areas.
Nice spot
It's a really nice location and the host is a really good person. There's plenty of space on the property to be secluded if you have a good set up and there's heaps of animals too.
Super easy access to Port Arthur if you're going there

Choice of amazing areas to camp!
What a great experience! Our six year old absolutely loved the numerous docile animals who wandered up to our site for a pat. Lovely views. Ian is friendly and knowledgeable - we did the feeding tour with him which was equal parts hilarious and memorable. Highly recommended.

Beautiful sunrise, Lovely animals
Amazing view. Plenty of rescued animals that kids will love. Max of 2 other campers in a large site. 4G coverage.
You will need self contained vehicles with own toilet and water supply.

I highly recommend that anyone who visits Tasmania, must make it a priority to stay at Eventide Sanctuary! Not only is Ian an amazing host who took the time to make us feel so welcome, he takes amazing care of his animals and deserves everyoneâs support so he can continue to make his place the best farm stay experience for everyone!
Ian took us on a walk around his property where we found his infamous highland cows and fed them, threw bread to the sheep and chickens and even watched him feed his adorable calves. Our highlight was also meeting his dog Walley, where he took it upon himself to keep watch of the farm from our footstool!

We loved camping at Eventide Sanctuary with all the farm animals. Ian (and Wally đś) as hosts are wonderful, so genuine in his cause to rescue animals and protect them. We canât wait to come back.

Selection of natural areas.
There are many very cute animals here, and they are very willing to get close to humans. It was a very good experience. If there is a chance, I would like to camp here again.
