Female only! Stay in a bohemian traditional Mongolian Ger (yurt) on a beautiful Australian native garden of 2 acres overlooking Mercury Passage and fascinating Maria Island. Private yet safely contained within the property Would be ideal for single travelling female if any age who wishes to explore this beautiful area. Visit the stunning Maria Island, 20 minutes away to the Triabunna ferry. Visit Freycinet and the Tasman Peninsula. Hobart is 75 minutes away, airport 50 minutes. East Coast Tasmania..nowhere better! Enjoy lots of activities in the area and come back to your serene surroundings. The Seadragon Yurt is basic and rustic. It's cosy, has minimal facilities but you can boil a kettle, microwave a meal (home cooked meals $15 booked in advance) a porta porti and main bathroom facilities in my house twice daily.. There's an armchair, a wood stove, a single comfortable stretcher bed. Microwave, tea & coffee. Filtered rainwater. BYO sheets & towels or let me know and I can provide. I'm a respectable distance away but your privacy is as important to you as it is to me. Park on-site and you have a private entrance. There are two silly labradors who may visit you outside so you do need to be a dog person. If not.. sorry the yurt is not for you. Please note this is a female only property. In the beautiful Spring Beach area opposite Maria island on the East Coast of Tasmania sits this characterful yurt (ger). The Seadragon Yurt sits on a platform surrounded by native gardens and schlerophyl forest and offers glimpses of the beautiful Mercury Passage and Maria Island. Furnished with a comfortable stretcher single bed, a deep armchair, pocket wood heater and precious wall hangings collected from afar over the years. A microwave, kettle, coffee and tea making facilities and filtered rainwater complete your intimate space. I can provide a home made microwavable vegetarian dinner option for $18 if ordered in advance . Perfect for a single lady traveller seeking safe, peaceful surroundings. If you desire a break in an unusual private place..you've found it. Simply chill out and enjoy the space or make it your base for exploring this stunning area. Main house available at set times for showering/toileting (toilet facility at yurt too). Limited cooking facilities with tableware, microwave, bbq and firepit. Please note there are two very friendly labradors on the property who may wish to visit you. .it would be wise to be a dog lover! They are discouraged from visiting you and are not allowed inside the yurt. This is a female only property. I can only host females. The East coast of Tasmania is spectacular.. I can fill you in on locations to must see!

East Coast Tasmania Yurt
My stay at Annie's yurt was absolutely delightful. A beautiful spot, a peaceful space and a delicious sleep. And to top it off, the homemade dinner she made was both nutritious and plentiful. All one would need. I would highly recommend Annie's yurt to any woman looking for some time out.
