Arion Park Hipcamp, Clydesdale Stud. Our horses really make our property special with them frolicking, enjoying the beautiful hills and Foals due every year from October. Based on over 16acres we look out onto another several hundred acres of farm land. The Night sky here is amazing with amazing opportunities to catch the Aurora Australis (southern lights) on camera. Nearby historical town of Ross, rich with convict history. Ross is based on the Macquaire River 1 hour from Launceston and 1.5 hours from Hobart, the perfect midway point! Ross town offers a beautiful old world vibe, visit the famous Bridge, the local antique shops or the wool shed. If you want to drive a little further, Oatlands is 35 minutes south and has the historical Brewery for meals and many small business shops to look through. Campbell Town is 10 minutes north of Ross and has an IGA, bottle shop and many little stores including more antique shops. The property sits on 16 flat sunny private acres, overlooking the beautiful Mt Morgan, and midland country side. 10 mins into Campbell Town township, 25 mins to The HistoricalTown of Oatlands, 1hr hour to Launceston, 1.5hrs to Hobart. Enjoy the serenity of our Majestic Clydesdales thundering hooves over the landscape, with spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Foaling season is September/ October and we have two due this year. Wood can be purchased onsite for your campfire. Please ensure you are up to date with any local fire restrictions in place, and abide by them. VERY IMPORTANT: Strictly one vehicle/campervan/caravan per booking. If you are traveling as a group, and have 2+ caravans for example, you will need to make two bookings. Please check prior to booking if you have any questions. All campers MUST be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go. Ross Village has a Dump Point. Please be responsible for your own rubbish. No rubbish bins provided Campbell Town Tip open every Tuesday & Sunday… Please check their website for further times etc. Tip is cash only.. Other things to note: Wide open space overlooking the rolling hills, you are welcome to choose where you wish to camp within this area upon arrival. No facilities, so it's very important that you have your own camp toilet, and can take all your waste when you go. Strictly one vehicle/caravan per booking. Children under 16 Free with two paying adults. Although there is plenty of space for multiple groups to camp together, if you have more than one vehicle/caravan in your group, then you MUST make multiple bookings. Relaxing, open camping
We loved our two night relaxing, doggy friendly camping stay next to the horses. Gorgeous open, flat space with views and a fire pit. Take carrots to feed the horses! A 15 or so min walk into beautiful Ross, fab bakeries, bridge, quaint architecture, Elm lined streets, wool museum, has a wonderful feel. Perfect base to explore. Thanks Jamie and Renee.

Don’t hesitate lovely views.
Loved our stay at Jamie and Renae’s little piece of paradise. Such a friendly family who shared their moving to Tassie story and their dreams with us. Very flat open space lovely views. Super friendly Clydesdale horses. Our dog loved the space as did we. Very close to Ross 5 minutes drive. Highly recommended. This couple have planted loads of trees in their short time in Tasmania. Well done guys!

Beautiful Clydesdales.
We loved parking up here for a night. Such beautiful scenery, friendly Clydesdales that are more than happy to visit you at the fence. Plenty of space for our toddler to run around. The night sky was stunning as well! Very welcoming hosts, Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip through Ross! Thanks for having us :)

Such a lovely spot to stay! An awesome outlook and so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of level areas to choose from in the grassy paddocks and our only ‘neigh’bours were the beautiful horses. Loved the serenity .
