Our property is a 20 acre wooded oasis near interstate 90, Lake Vermillion, and Canistota. We are one of the highest points in the county and have views that stretch 20 miles with the naked eye. Take walks through the woods and see the natural springs that begin the Battle Creek, the old 1880s home foundation, the wild turkeys, bald eagles, rabbits, pheasants, deer, and other wild animals. Imagine sitting under the stars at night and having no light pollution to see the Milky Way. Just sit and relax. Easy access from the interstate, we are 6 miles from the nearest exit. We have septic, water, 30 and 50 amp hookup. Grocery store is 3 miles away, and the famous Ortman clinic is also 3 miles away. This full hookup site has a tree framed magnificent view of the sunrise. Easily see 20 miles with the naked eye. Pull in/back in large enough for a 45' rig. Gravel "levelish" pad with plenty of room for camp chairs and fire pit. 50 amp, water, sewer. No toilets or showers come with this spot and is best utilized by a self contained unit.

All the fixin’s, all by yourself
Park-like setup with solitude and an expansive view across farm land. I appreciated easy access and full hookups while still feeling away from it all. Near the house, but creative parking can create your own private corner.

Gorgeous spot; wonderful host
Chris is wonderful and so is his property. Gorgeous property and wonderful host. I would highly recommend this spot. Also, it’s incredibly important that you meet his cat Milo. You’re welcome.

Sunsets were amazing
This was a great spot for overnight. Sunsets and sunrise are amazing. Lots of room for your pup to run. Not much to do during the day but sit and relax. Make sure you get there before dark.

Great quiet spot, dogs could run around and easy in-and-out! A little drive on dirt roads to get here, but still a great spot and location for us heading west!
