We are located just off the Horrocks Highway on the way to the Clare Valley amongst 42 acres of peppermint gum scrub sheltered by the ranges west of Tarlee. Here you will find lovely spread out camping spots with plenty of space to explore, quiet country roads for walking or riding with spectacular views of the ranges and valley as well as Kangaroos, Kookaburras and more native wildlife. Bush camping at its best. Firewood available to purchase on arrival, $25 for a large container and fire drums are provided. NO CHAINSAWS A beautiful peaceful spot with plenty of space for caravans, campers, tents and swags. We have a flock of sheep and chooks with eggs to pick up, children love to ride their push bikes down the hills and through the tracks. Our scrub is perfect for outdoor imagination and bundles of energy. Campers have made cubbies in the trees, tyre swings and set up hammocks for lazy afternoons or a swing. Pick a site that suits you best, set up camp, light a fire and sit back and relax. Pet friendly. Long drop toilet available.

Camping Sites-Wildlife Haven
A very peaceful and calming site
We loved the serenity and quietness of this place as campsites are quite a distance from each other. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it for another night. It was great to be able to take our old dog for short little walks around the campsite throughout the day and the just sit to relax and soak up the surroundings and listen to the birds. Had the occasional visit from the hosts dog but it’s very friendly and I think it was just coming to say a quick hello! Our dog is not overly dog friendly but their dog was very well behaved and didn’t react or try to to bother our dog so that was great.

The sites were really big with a half barrel fire pit, which we made good use of on the chilly nights. It was great that you could buy wood from Russell and Alison, who by the way are really nice people. They have a very friendly and tame dog that has a little wander too. Very peaceful, very serene

Great pet friendly site!
We loved our stay so much we extended it another day! Great open area to camp and very relaxing spot to stay! We were in a tent this time but will definitely be back again to try out with our caravan instead. Our dog loved this get-away and so did we!

We had an enjoyable stay here. A good choice of sites, and we picked a quiet weekend so had the pick of the bunch. Some sites wouldn't be as flat as others but at least there's choice! Nice and peaceful, with amazing opportunity for stargazing. We appreciated the half barrell fire pits and the opportunity to purchase wood from Russell for the stay. We would definitely recommend.
