Enjoy the serenity of waking up on our 100-acre farm in the Adelaide Hills. Piney Estate is a beautiful base camp from which to explore the Adelaide Hills, but you'll be just as inclined to relax on the property and enjoy peaceful country time. The location is ideal, being just 5mins from Nairne village (which has a great Foodland, butcher and bottle shop). Plus there are plenty of foodie and wine options to discover in the region. We offer different options, some sites have water and power , and others are more remote, fully self-sufficient spots. Many sites have a campfire space (not available during the summer fire ban months). Pets are welcome off-leash, so long as they remain under control and do not disturb the farm animals, keep them on leash if you aren't sure how they will behave around sheep and cattle. Also note we have a dog here, and 3 cats, and other guests may have pets, so make sure your dog is dog-friendly, or else keep them leashed at all times.

Cattle Yard - Pine Lane
Great trip with cattle and canines
We had an outstanding weekend at the Cattle Yards. Peaceful, magnificent view and an outstanding host who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including bringing a trailer load of wood for the fire! Being fully fenced, the cattle yard is also a great option for anyone with dogs. We will definitely be returning

The Hay Shed
The site itself was in a lovely location but we were unaware that we would require a longer than normal power lead to access power. The only water supply we could locate was approx 60m away as well. Lovely hosts and location though. Becareful of treading in the cows droppings 💩

The Hay Shed
We loved camping in front of the Hay Shed. The views across the fields and down to the dam were beautiful. Watching the sunrise in the mornings from our tent were magical. The directions to the camp site were good and our dog Koda enjoy his camp time.

We enjoy hip camping in the Adelaide hills, and Piney Ridge is no exception!!! They have multiple sites to suit all types of stays. We camped (with our 12ft camper) at the Hay Shed site over the weekend and took shelter in the shed against the strong wind and heavy rain and with a light fire overlooking beautiful surroundings along with tranquility, magnificent. This camp site is well suited for what we were hoping for and will be a go to place for sure. Ps have a go at the sauna and plunge in the pool, Im now hooked..

Two days camping at hay shed are wonderful experiences. It’s dog friendly and with fences. Sauna is wonderful.
