Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre cliff top property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). If we are fully booked we will open up our cliff top fire pit near the cottage for all to enjoy (Contact Us Prior to booking). During October and November the cottage gardens are open to the public (Contact Us Prior for open days), with over 130 roses, many native trees and other plant varieties, you can wander around the gravel paths of our numerous our garden rooms and the orchard. Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp. Notes: - Cliff-top property, may not be suitable for young children. Caution to be taken at all times. - NO River Access. - NO dumping of rubbish. - NO dumping of toilet waste, nearest dump points are located in Morgan and Cadell. - Pets/Dogs – must be on a lead at all times. - Nearest Boat Ramp – Cadell. - Cadell and Morgan both have fuel distributors and general stores.

Pender's Park - Site 4
Panoramic views...and goats!
Stunning views over the Murray in both directions from this site. Relaxing, peaceful spot, lovely to watch all the local birdlife and houseboats float by. Did get a bit windy and dusty being up on the cliff. Sue was so generous with her time and knowledge, both about the local area and her beautiful Kalahari goats! It was such a treat to be able to hold a baby goat too - thank you :)

Ferry View - Site 1
Great Views
Great view, easy access with a 2wd and an onroad van, would be tricky if wet though, otherwise Sue advised us how to get to our site, would stay again if in the area.

Pender's Park - Site 4
Site 4
Great site. Fantastic views. Although lights on at Park across river it didn’t affect the ambiance of the place and the ferry crossings which there weren’t many we heard overnight. Would recommend this place and any of the sites. So glad we found it. Also fireplaces are fantastic. Both Sue and Scott were a great help . Will remember this site for another visit.

Riverbend - Site 2
the site was great - the site and views were outstanding and the grounds were neat, tidy and comfortable and Sue was lovely. The only downside was the park on the opposite bank of the river, a very bright light turned on at 1700hrs and stayed on till 2130hrs. It was quite blinding and made movement at night somewhat challenging… definitely problematic for any night time sky watching.
