Nature's Rest is an alternative peaceful place to stay for adults only and friendly well behaved dogs! We're Situated on the Gibson Peninsula just 6 km from the township of Streaky Bay. Our site has approximately 10 acres of flat fenced paddocks. Currently only suitable for fully self contained (leave no trace) camper vehicles (all 2WD accessible) One paddock is for the RVs, Caravans and Motorhomes, the other paddock is used for a dog off lead exercise area, should you wish to bring your furry friend! Listen to the sound of the ocean from your spacious rural site. Sorry we are not allowing children at our site as we would like to cater for those people that otherwise may not have camped in beautiful Streaky Bay. This is an option for those who may prefer their own space and freedom with the company of like minded adults. All campers to provide their own toilet, then dispose of their own waste. Being an RV Friendly town, the council is kind enough to provide a dump point facility. The township of Streaky Bay also has potable water to refill your tanks. As we do not have enough supply here from our rain water tanks. However, we do have 2 x small drinking troughs for your furry companions. Excellent Local Amenities Include: 2 x Super Markets 2 x Bottle Shops Mitre 10 Hardware Store Fantastic Butchers, Bakery and Fish Mongers shops Post Office, Newsagency, Pharmacy, Surf and clothes shops etc Fishing Tackle Shop Cycle Hire Shop Streaky Bay Hotel and Bistro Drift Cafe/Restaurant and Funk'd Coffee Shop Streaky Bay Gin Distillers Pizza, Indian, Fish and Chip takeaways etc Local attractions to Nature's Rest include: Stunning Eyre Peninsula coastline with its numerous beaches. Closest being Back Beach a popular surfing beach, Hally's Beach, Doctors Beach and Cape Bauer Loop scenic drive from as little as 5km away. Only a cycle or drive away. Not forgetting: Westall Way Loop Coastal Scenic Drive Point Labatt Sea Lion Scenic Drive (Including Baird Bay and Murphy's Haystacks) A great stopover, whether you're a grey nomad doing the lap, angler, surfer or travelling musician. In-fact Nature's Rest is for any self contained traveller young or old. Before or after your trip across the Nullarbor or coming down the centre. Or maybe you're just looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Lisa and I would love to welcome you to Nature's Rest.No set designated sites, as camping is pick your own spot within the fenced paddock. Being courteous with space towards your fellow campers please. Sorry no children allowed on the entire site as we would like to cater for those people that otherwise may not have camped in beautiful Streaky Bay. This is an option for those who may prefer their own space and the company of adults. Although, well behaved, friendly dogs are permitted on lead within this space (a separate fully fenced off lead exercise area is provided opposite the camping entrance).

What a beautiful little spot! Far from the maddening crowds, yet close enough to everything in the area. A great place to base oneself to explore the amazing sights of the surrounds. Lisa and Rob could not have been more helpful and hospitable. Thank you so much for a very memorable stay.

Great spot close to Streaky Bay
Rob & Lisa were fantastic hosts, making us feel very welcomed. Large, level paddock and you find your own spot. Great views of the sunrise and sunset. They are situated on a loop road with access to 3-4 fabulous beach sights which was great for a morning cycle. Town is a 5min drive away.
