A beautiful location 12 km from Kingscote and a shot drive from Kangaroo island brewery. 300m from the bay off shoals and around the corner from Emu bay Boxing bay and Turners Drive looking over Kingscote Harbour. The property abundant with wildlife, kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidna and passing koalas. The bird life is spectacular and never ending. You can choose your spot to nestle in to overlooking the bay, Wisagna hills or the range behind Emu bay. From Meanfeat downs you can base yourself to see the islands natures paradise, situated on the central north coast it is surrounded by stunning beaches, wineries, eateries and natures marvels. You can just sit back amongst the shaded arias and watch the days go by and the night sky open up. Or use it as your base to explore all the island has to offer , but most of all enjoy and relax.

The dog's Lou & Don
We had never been to kangaroo Is before & wanted something different to just staying a van park as we can live off grid. The place is huge & we found a spot that gave us protection from the elements with the ability to have an evening fire with some fallen wood on site & that which we brought with us. The dogs noses got a good work out with the smells but had trouble working out why the other dog's ran on the back legs. They were buggered at the end of each day. The host's welcomed us on arrival & were extremely friendly then took us for a look around so we could choose our spot. The property for us was the perfect starting point for where we wanted to see & do over the 3 day's we had on the Island. If we get back over one day we know where to stay. Cheers Don.

Wonderful spot
Really nice place. We camped next to the forrest overlooking to paddock full with kangaroos. It’s close to Kingscote and Emu buy, full of wildlife and you camp here in total peace. I would recommend this spot.

Beautiful property full of curious wildlife! Stephen was very quick to respond to any questions we had regardless of the fact we arrived quite late in the night :)

Great location amongst the bush
Lots of perfectly flat spots with plenty of trees for shade / cover and only a few hundred metres from the beach. Kangaroos visited and easy check in. Thanks Stephen.
