Here you'll find 6 acres of undulating land, surrounded by gum trees. The campsite is in a lovely bush setting, in a valley, which is quiet and private. Campers must be self-contained, we don't have facilities here. Its a birdwatchers paradise please check out the photos. Plenty of options for safe swimming and surfing beaches (10-20 minute drive) Visit the Alpacas (by arrangement) just across the road Jetty at Rapid Bay is the spot for fishing (20-minute drive) Hiking in Deep Creek Conservation Park is fantastic (15-minute drive) Find essentials at Yankalilla township, including a supermarket, craft shops, pub and medical centre (10-minute drive) Lovely scenic drives in the area and Victor Harbour, a larger regional town is only 25 minutes away.Pitch your tent in a bush setting. The ground is gently undulating and grassed, with some flat areas, you can choose any spot you like. The site is in a valley, which is quiet and private.  We accept just one booking at a time, so you have the whole place to yourselves. Campers must be self-contained.   There are hiking, swimming and fishing areas close by, and at camp, you may see kangaroos and occasionally wild deer. If you would like to meet and feed  the alpacas let me know. Lovely scenic drives in the area and Victor Harbour, a larger regional town is only 25 minutes away. Second Valley Beach is quite famous for its scenic charm and is a nice easy drive from your campsite. Ingalalla Falls are worth a visit in the second valley forest. Another fantastic stay
16 ft Class B
Our second trip here, we had some great weather at this beautiful bush location, our host Norm was so obliging, so close to Yankallila, Normanville. Plenty of birdlife, very peaceful, highly recommended. Images to come… Mike & Kate

Norm was flexible with our booking, thanks. The place was all for us, which was nice, but we are a bit disappointed that most of the paddock was high grass so we couldn’t roam around. The area we camped on was on a slope, which was not comfortable. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this secluded campsite. The location is peaceful and private, nestled in a quiet valley with plenty of space to choose from. Norm was incredibly welcoming. One of the highlights was getting the chance to meet and feed the alpacas, which was such a lovely experience. We visited during the summer and had no trouble getting there in a two-wheel-drive vehicle. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Peaceful hidden nook in the country
16 ft car
Really beautiful property to camp on. I met Norm, he was really a gentle and kind host who pointed me in the right direction as I was a little lost. Had a big camp fire and made friends with two little red breasted robins. Close to the road but barely any cars went past so not a problem. Nestled off the main road but easy to get to. A good little retreat with privacy. Thanks Norm.

We found Norm’s place very private and secluded and enjoyed the serenity, the birds, kangaroos and even an echidna.

Peaceful, Private and Perfect
13 ft pop-up camper
Norm’s property on the Fleurieu Peninsula was secluded, green and packed with wildlife. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was a great weekend getaway. I wish we’d had more time to stay longer.
