Pitch your tent or bring your van to our beautifully positioned beach block at Hardwicke Bay, Yorke Peninsula.
A stone's throw from the water and one of Australia's most beautiful beaches, Flaherty's beach, perfect for paddling, paddle boarding and kayaks. Explore nearby Point Turton tavern and cafes, with Minlaton only 15 minutes drive away for all your essentials including Watsacowie Brewing Company.
You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. We ask you to please leave no trace.
Hardwicke Bay is wonderfully quiet and secluded. 4WD access to beach, 45mins to Innes National Park and 30mins the first of many surf breaks at Corny Point.
No campfires. Pets welcome.
I had booked and paid for 2 nights because I thought I would have trouble finding a camping spot on 6&7 January. The site is a house block, very uneven & slopes. The little paved pad is in a corner near neighbors and next to a corrugated iron fence, no view and no ambience. I found a gorgeous spot right on the beachfront with our nearest fellow camper over 100m away….a council permit spot
What an amazing spot! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here. Just a block from the beach. Clear beautiful water and so warm! Helen was super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely stay again if back in the area.
