Site 03 - Van, RV, tent
We really enjoyed camping at Currawong Corner. We specially appreciated Neil's attention to our needs and his willingness to spend time chatting with us about the site and the local facilities. The site is flat and spacious with some wind shelter from mallee trees. The long drop toilets are really clean and don't smell at all. We hadn't visited Mannum before. It is only 35Km from the campsite and has a lot of interesting historical features to explore. Our next visit to Currawong Corner will be on a clear night. The campsite is the Dark Sky reserve where one can observe the brilliance of the stars in a way that is impossible in the city – and it's only just over an hour's drive from Adelaide.

Great getaway
We loved our little getaway at Neil and Margaret’s campsite. The directions were spot on and easily found. Longdrops available which was actually a bonus and very clean. Was great to be able to have a campfire and was lovely to arrive with some kindling made available to us to start our fires. Neil and Margaret were great hosts. Extremely friendly and very approachable. Great spot to go off for day trips in the area. Sites are apart enough to not bother anyone else and our dog Hugo loved his stay. The sunsets were awesome as well. Thank you for providing an awesome little spot to getaway. Karen and Brad. 🌿

Quick weekend away
Totally fell in love with the grounds. Well spaced out sites, two other vans in at the same time. Didn't hear anyone. Long drop toilets well maintained. Definitely coming back!

A great pace to relax
We had a lovely time here. Was nice and peaceful, and having access to drop loos was great! Was a bit windy in the afternoon, so make sure you have good tent pegs and decent ropes! Neil was so helpful to two lasses on their first camping trip together 😅 would absolutely recommend this area to others!
