Site 4 - Large General Non Powered
Site 4 is on a slope.
Cooinda Camp is a lovely spot with a great location. Our hosts, Julie and Adrian, were there to welcome us and show us into our site (No 4) which was lucky because I had booked a large site for our 18ft van but the only part of the site that was vaguely level was inaccessible and would have required us to face away from the view and right into the dump point. With a lot of help from our hosts and some convenient blocks of wood from Adrian we managed to level up but I didn’t feel easy and we shouldn’t need to have low-range 4 WD to access our site. I wish there had been a more accurate description of Site 4 as my request when booking for more information went unanswered. It is one of the prettiest and great for a camper trailer. Amenities were portable and spotlessly clean. Thank you Julie and Adrian, you were great hosts.

Site 7 - Large Premium Non Powered
We had a great time, Julie was always checking on us, the porta loo’s were always clean and smelt fresh, and so peaceful, and surprisingly sheltered when it was blowing a gale down on the foreshore. Would book site 8 next time though, as it had the best view and more space and seemed quite level in comparison to site 7. It was still a great site, we just missed out on the arvo sun as it was a little smaller at the front than 8. Still we wouldn’t complain, we loved it there and the ids had a ball
