Great family friendly campsite
We loved tent camping at site 1 at Alma’s Hem. It’s a beautiful property - felt very secluded. It was very convenient having the lovely bathroom facilities and camp kitchen, including pizza oven. The kids enjoyed exploring all of the artistic touches around the property, playing on the stage, playing fetch with the friendly dog, & climbing trees. Inman Valley is a beautiful region. We would definitely recommend this campsite.

Best in SA
This is hands down one of our most favourite HipCamps, Kylie and her family are lovely and so down to earth and welcoming. We feel very lucky that they generously share their beautiful property with everyone. The views are spectacular and the amenities are top notch. If you have kids, they'll have a ball exploring and watching the wildlife. This spot is forever in our hearts and we absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an incredible camping spot in SA.

Loved our one night getaway here
We had a great stay here. Toilets were very luxurious for camping! Flushing for starters. Rain water was available but no plugs in the sinks so we couldn't use them to wash any dishes/utensils. We only used the bench and the shelter to do our food prep but there is a BBQ and pizza oven which I think runs on gas bottle. No one else was using the communal firepit so we had that to ourselves! The kids loved being able to play with the dogs (there were 3 that just stayed around us pretty consistently). Only downside is the barking and incessant need to have a stick thrown 😆. If you or your children aren't dog lovers this could be a big issue for you. One of them also got into a bag of food scraps we had left on the camp kitchen bench overnight so could've been bad if it was our actual food. The views are absolutely stunning and we watched the weather roll in over the hills. Kids loved swinging in the macrame chair swing (they called it the peace swing!). It's a lovely spot and has more than you'd expect for a patch in a paddock 👌 Easy to book online and easy to navigate your way there.
