The fabulous Burrowhead Holiday Village is a beautiful holiday park owned by Lee Park Estates, designed for lodge, caravan, motorhome and tent holidays in Scotland. It is set in a idyllic location on the Dumfries and Galloway coast.
Not only that, but we offer holiday homes for sale too, so you can make your holiday last a lifetime! We are open for a full 12 months a year.
We also have 12 month seasonal pitches available for touring caravans and motorhomes.There are two main areas for tents/tourers/motorhomes which are open year round, for a full 12 months with electric hook up and water points. The pitches are mostly grass and with the cliff top location, remain mainly dry throughout the whole season. Area A is near the toilet/shower facilities and laundrette. The shower and toilet facilities have recently been refurbished in 2022. This area is great for people with limited mobility and families as is situated near to the children’s playground. Area B sits on the sea front overlooking the Isle of Man. The views here are simply stunning and it makes the perfect backdrop for individuals who want the view and are happy with the longer walk of around 100m to the toilet and shower facilities. There is ample space for larger pitches if required. There are also pitches without electric hook ups available in areas of the park which offer a more secluded stay. Specific areas can be requested on booking and will be accommodated wherever possible. Please note we have a private water supply and as a precaution we advise you to boil our water before consumption.
