173000 acres hosted by Emma J.
Our property is a 70,000 hectare working cattle station in central Cape York Peninsula. The Jacksons have been breeding approx. 3000 head of Brahman cattle here for almost 60 years.
With camping spots and glamping set up, freshwater creeks to swim in and picnic at and off road tracks for a little more adventure, come and experience a taste of our outback life. We also have a 2km walking track along an old cattle droving track that was used in the mid 1900s.
You are welcome to hang around and explore a day in the life on the cattle station, take a drive to a creek or waterhole for a swim and picnic, or just relax away from the hustle and bustle of the main camping spots along the main Cape York road.
Guests will have access to toilets and showers throughout their stay. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided.
Perfect place for children to safely explore life on a property, and maybe meet some friendly cows. On Tuesday lunchtimes, the mail plane flies in, bringing our weekly mail or supplies landing on our very own airstrip. This is always exciting for us.
You can choose where you set up your camp when you come visit. The driveway in is 3km and can handle huge road trains so your caravan is not too big. We may be able to hook you up to 240v power for a small fee.
Pets welcome.
