Our camp sites are set at the rear of our 17 acre property in bushland so you must have your own Toilet & Shower facilities. The camping area is approx 5 acres of peaceful bushland separated campsites, abounding in birds & wildlife. We don't use the area so decided to open it as a nature based bush camp for self contained rigs. Buxton is on the Southern boundary of the Bundaberg Regional Shire. We are 3kms to Buxton General Store and Boat ramp with great fishing and easy access to the Burrum, Isis and Gregory Rivers & for the more experienced, direct access to the Wide Bay and Fraser Island. The historic town of Childers is a 20 minute drive and has everything you need. Make sure you visit the restored Paragon Theatre & Espresso Bar built in 1927 and the Backpackers memorial. There are also 2 Supermarkets, Cafes, Pubs, Chemist, Doctors & more. A further 5 mins brings you to Appletree Creek, the home of "Mollydooker's Cafe & Bar" and a 45 min leisurely drive from Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Bundaberg. PLEASE CONFIRM THE APPROX TIME OF YOUR ARRIVAL WHEN BOOKING!

This is a perfect place to camp when you have kids. Plenty of space for them to run around and the land is really flat. I really like what Steve has done with his land and the individual private camp sites he has set up. We will be coming back.

Whereabouts Buxton was clean and well cared for. Steve made sure that we were stocked up with fire wood both nights we were there. Well worth the $7 per head.
