Waterbird Paradise
Serenity at Waterbird Paradise
We were fortunate to have a stop over at the semi rural 'Waterbird Paradise' near Gympie. If you are seeking a smaller property, beautiful lakes with yellow and purple water lilies, peace and tranquility to share with all sorts of water birds, Billie and Lilly the baby goats, a horse and dog, then this is the place for you! Thank you to the kind and thoughtful hosts, Lisa and family who can't do enough for you. They supplied power and firewood for $25 per night. Our site seeing included Mothar Mountain Rock Pools and hike, Mary River walk and more... We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay at Waterbird Paradise!

Waterbird Paradise
Quiet, relaxing , very nice hosts
Lisa and the family were very nice and friendly . The site would be a great spot to stop and use as a base to explore the region and then come back for a relax and dinner. Plenty of birds and even saw some kangaroos. Would go back again.
