170 acres of paradise located in Tarome, just 8 minutes from Aratula and the Cunningham Highway. The campsite is best suited to those chasing a quiet, private area to enjoy the best of nature along with unbelievable mountain views. The property is the home base for a grass fed beef business with a sustainable focus so whilst you will share with some beautiful cows and calves, the secluded(and fenced off!) campsite is private and serene. Tarome offers some of the best views of the Main Range and Cunninghams Gap, all of which you can enjoy from the site. The sunsets here are spectacular. The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD! In lieu of camping with nature there are no amenities and limited service with some providers, but if you are chasing something in particular please let us know. We are happy to help. By staying with us you are helping a young family achieve our dream of running a sustainable, eco friendly food production business, we genuinely appreciate your support.

Good spot, lovely area.
We arrived where we thought it was, but the is not shown. Maybe a ribbon or sign would be good. Not really a problem but could make it a little easier. Drove into the paddock, its flat and green with 3 fire pits and a few little one spread around. When we went looking for the creek, there's no directions and the track is not well used, but it's not too hard to find. No water in creek except a few a few holes, but a nice wander. Loved the storm we got that night. Didn't get to meet the owners but had good communication with them. It's a good spot for a few days exploring the area or a short weekend out of Brisbane.

Very quiet private large space which is easily accessible. The backdrop of Cunningham’s Gap frame the camp site beautifully.

Scenic and very peaceful
We stayed for two nights with our dogs. The surrounding scenic rim area is beautiful. The camp area is flat, and all sites have a fire pit. We ordered our wood off Tamika and were supplied with plenty for our stay. Very peaceful, and we enjoyed the farms cows and creek nearby. Wasn’t full or running during our stay, but enough for our fur babies to enjoy a swim!

A nice relaxing spot in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range with plenty to see and do close by. Very accommodating hosts. We'll be back.
