Nestled in the mountains is a little grove with beautiful views and fresh crisp air. This property is set on 5 acres of flat and sloping ground. The campsite is part rainforest and has a creek on one side. There is also lots of open forest. I find the rainforest good for enjoying the birds. If you're up for an adventure bring your mountain bike and go riding, or head of for walks along the creek. It's very peaceful. You will find the Wallaman Falls, Mt Fox and National Parks nearby. This campsite is located about half an hour from town. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is a picnic table for meals, access to water, power and wifi as well as rubbish facilities.Nestled in the mountains is a little grove with beautiful views and fresh crisp air. Twitchers Rest Camping
Would not recommend.
Booking twitchers rest was easy and the host willingly allowed us to check in early. However that’s where the positives end. The ‘sites’ are overgrown areas adjacent to a derelict farm house. Ie 15m away. A second option was provided, some 50m further away directly under the powerlines. We did not stay and left 2 minutes after arriving. Zero stars.

Thanks for our stay!! Beautiful grassy site in amongst the fruit trees. Beautiful quiet area. Unfortunately it rained during our stay so we didn’t get to explore a lot of the area.

Peaceful stay with mountain views!
We took a drive through sugar cane country and arrived at Kevin's property which is surrounded by natural beauty. There are stunning views of the Mt Fox National Park where the sun sets over the mountain range. There are chickens & ducks on the property and their dog April is very cute! Really peaceful place to pull up for the night. Would highly recommend staying here especially if you are heading out to Wallaman Falls
