Travellers Rest 1770 in Agnes Water
A perfect location
The options to camp unpowered were numerous and enabled you to maintain a respectful distance from other campers. The cleanliness of the bathroom facilities was outstanding and the outside sink for cleaning was appreciated. The timber boardwalk was a wonderful feature to view the vegetation on the property. The only disappointing element was the mozzies - that’s camping! At times, the road noise was noticeable, however, the majority of the time viewing the amazing stars was undertaken in silence - beautiful❤️ We valued having access to a fire pit and the cheapest bags of wood in the district. Mike & Michi were very friendly and made you feel welcome on their property. Close access to all of the facilities at Agnes Waters & 1770 made our stay at Travellers Rest a memorable experience. The new BBQ area looks like it will add another fantastic feature to Travellers Rest- a good reason to come back! We are grateful that you generously offer your home to visitors from the south! It was also terrific to witness your commitment to sustainable recycling facilities. Until next time! Paul & Belinda

We loved our camp here, away from the crowds, could set our van up to maximise privacy and we enjoyed the peaceful bush setting. Amenities were clean, owners were great.

Van stay
They are great big spots. Not crammed in like sardines. Very welcoming. Amenities were clean. We had a powered site but be prepared that you will have to be self sufficient with your own water as there is no water hook up. A nice drive into 1770 to see the sunset & have dinner at the boat ramp.
