The Old piggery is located in the back corner paddock of our 36 acre property. It has enough space for 4 caravans/campers. To ensure you have the entire fenced paddock to yourselves we have listed it as one site. It is a flat shady site with an undercover bush kitchen and fireplace. There is also a seasonal creek with many species of wildlife. Located close to popular tourist locations - Mooloolaba Beach, hinterland, The Big Pineapple, Aussie World, Australia Zoo (all within 20 min drive). Guests will have access to a toilet and shower during their stay. We have cattle on the property so please ensure gates are kept closed at all times. Kangaroos are regularly sighted on our property. Price is per person so please include the correct number of guests in your booking. We only take one booking at a time so you are guaranteed exclusive use of the site and facilities. Firewood can be collected from the paddock for free. Pre-packed firewood is available for purchase at the site. Please advise your eta so we can greet you and show you to the site. As much as it was private and spacious we can't give a good review due to the dog on the property biting one of us and getting on the table and going through our stuff and biting hole in our dishdrops and knocking down stuff that we left while we were out. Had to get owner down a few times which wasn't a problem for them. Once to get lights to work and then to get a bit of warm water for the shower but didn't work again next time we tried it. Summer would be best time to go as wind blows through floor boards under shower and through window opening. Owners were nice though but need to have dog tied up as dangerous

Will definitely be back.
Very private and peaceful. Very handy to have a working toilet and running water. Shower was cold but I’m not complaining at all. Lots of wildlife, kangaroos, birds, etc. The host, Cathy, was super accommodating. Very happy, will be back soon.

I had a large group join for a weekend away and there was plenty of space for us to sprawl out and park our cars. Nice and private, good shower, toilet, covered communal area with a big table. The hosts were lovely. I’ll have to come back sometime.

There was plenty of flat space on the paddock so it was good for the roof top tent. The showers and toilets worked great. It was good that there were lights on the undercover area for the night. Overall really great.
