Lovely property, clearly marked camping areas w fire pits. We stayed 3 nights and were the only ones there all weekend. The communal area was all covered up with tarps and packed away, inaccessible. We saw the owners driving past and to the neighbouring property a number of times..it would have been nice if they said hello. 30 minute drive into Townsville.

The camping areas are large, with awesome fire pits. The games area was fun too, darts, jenga, coits. or just a nice place to sit and chat. Property is very handy to Townsville. Loved our stay there, would recommend it highly!

Peace and quiet!
Have stayed here twice and really enjoyed both stays. There are firepits setup in strategic locations, with their position marked by solar lights at night. Plenty of space between campers, although I've never seen more than a handful at any one time. The hosts have built an open shelter where there are tables, chairs and various games such as darts. Firewood is available at $10 a milkcrate. Great spot!

Janet and David have the best camp I’ve been to, it has all the facilities needed for camping, it’s clean and tidy has fire boxes scattered throughout the camp area and a great common area to sit and enjoy with friends. It is easily accessible with larger rigs and I would not hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone. I can say that we’ll be back some day thank you Janet and David.

No road noise at night!
The block has plenty of space between camps- each with their own fire pits. Cleared grounds with lovely gumtrees. Kangaroos grazing mornings and evenings. No road noise at night. Very peaceful and the campers open shed area is coming along. Dump point is useful and new shower block for cold showers or BYO solar shower will be ready soon!
