A great place to rest overnight or a type of base camp for those wanting to explore the Mackay and Whitsundays. Several areas available for travellers to park, which are quite secluded from one another. This 160 acre former sugarcane farm is undergoing land regeneration and repairs of the creek edges. Encouraging areas that lend themselves to water soaks. Guests are welcome to leave your camper/caravan/tent here while you explore the region, and it will be quite safe. You cannot explore or adventure on my property. People travelling with horses are welcome, the host runs a small agistment business and has some holding paddocks and watering facilities. The entry has some restrictions for longer vehicles, so please discuss this the host before booking. No toilets available, travellers must be fully self-contained and take all waste with them. Most pets are welcomed after discussions. Price is for up to 4 guests! Only 1 vehicle permitted per site, however open to discussion.A great place to rest overnight or a type of base camp for those wanting to explore the Mackay and Whitsundays. Tent
Rustic, not a designated national park camp site but when your just on the fly it’s a mowed area left to yourself. If self provisioned you can have a fire, set up camp and be well distanced from others. Owner was nice, met at the gates and asked if anything was needed. Servo down the road for convenience. No amenities but who cares. Cow paddocks surround and a brilliant sound of nature through the night. Time of year was perfect to throw stretcher beside the car and sleep well. As I said go provisioned for a cheap comfortable stay.

We we're Becky-jo's first Hipcampers and were very lucky as Becky-jo had us camp at her favourite spot which has beautiful tall tree's, plenty of shade and sunlight right next to a dry creek. You could walk down along the creek bed to the main creek which has water with lots of privacy. Becky-jo was a perfect host. Perfect base camp for driving into Mackay, Mirani and Marian. The smaller towns have great pubs and is part of the Pioneer Valley.
