Whether you’re in the mood for a leisurely tour of Wivenhoe or Somerset Dams, a bushwalk adventure, some time on the water with your kayak, a bit of fishing, or tackling the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail on your bike, we’ve got you covered.
Our campsite is a spacious, mostly flat grassy paddock with plenty of trees, set beside a crystal-clear, babbling creek. Just 10 minutes from Fernvale and Wivenhoe Dam, and a short drive from Somerset Dam, it's the ideal spot for RVs, caravans, and boats—no 4WD required (unless you just want to look cool).
Birdwatchers, take note! You'll love wandering through the gardens with the local wildlife as your soundtrack. And on a hot summer’s day, there’s nothing better than cooling off in the refreshing, steady flow of the creek—just like nature’s own air conditioner.
Feel free to fire up the wood BBQ or pizza oven, and for those perfect campfire moments, your very own fire pit awaits. Just bring your best marshmallow-roasting skills.
A quick heads-up: we don’t have toilets, so don’t forget to pack your portaloo or maybe a trusty shovel if you’re feeling adventurous. Oh, and as much as we love kids, the unfenced creek means it’s probably not the best spot for little ones to run wild.
Come for the peace and quiet, stay for the good vibes (and maybe a pizza or two)!
