The property is an ex sugarcane farm on the banks of the Maroochy River off a quiet road with easy access to Coolum Beach and Yandina. Exclusive peaceful camping with five sites available by the lengthy section of river once known as the Longreach of the Maroochy River. You will need to be a considerate fully self contained camper who is respectful of this peaceful environment. Only campers who are self sufficient, as no toilets, showers or water available. All rubbish to be taken back with you. Fire place available (firewood available at minimal cost). Your campsite is by the river, fishing and crabbing recommended Walking distance to Yandina Creek Wetlands flora and fauna trails. Watch the sunrise over Mt Coolum and the sunset over Mt Ninderry. Well behaved dogs allowed.Accessed off Yandina - Coolum Road bitumen road to sites Grassed sites are close by the river bank with several small openings to allow for fishing or crabbing to secure your dinner There are no showers, toilets, waste bins or potable water so campers must be self sufficient. There are fire pits with firewood available at $10/bag Well behaved dogs are allowed with a dam for them swim in as river may have bull sharks present The Maroochy River was once a thriving thoroughfare for transport by boat for mail, groceries and general supplies to the residents along the banks between Yandina, Coolum, Bli Bli and Maroochydore

What a beautiful and peaceful spot, so close to the beach and sunny coast attractions. We had a lovely two nights here. So relaxing by the river, and fishing. Scott and Sam are lovely hosts who made us feel welcome. We'll definitely be coming back here.

What an amazing spot and made even more special for my husband (from Cane Farm in Mackay) to have his first Father’s Day without his dad. Our boys actually forgot where they were and properly thought they were on the cane farm in Mackay. How amazing. We will be back with friends

Such a beautiful spot!!! The host put my group in a different spot to what I was expecting because it was a group booking and I was NOT disappointed!! We were right on the river, there were beautiful shady trees, the host had bags of fire wood ready to buy on site with an honesty jar @$10 a bag (Really great price) there was a water tank that was fed by rain water that we were allowed to use, the site was really clean and the grass kept short, but most if all my four legged babies were welcome. I will 100% book that site again if I am in the area and it is available.. The site was close to the hosts home but it is so far from awkward, don't let it discourage you it was barely noticeable. Thank you scott for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we had a wonderful time
