Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites, otherwise your camp MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Maleny - The Knoll, Riverdell
Great views from a perfectly kept campsite. Carolyn and Spencer were easy to deal with and Carolyn gave me a great run down of the cows grown on the property while showing me a newborn calf. Overall great experience.

Beautiful scenery worth every penny
my partner and I have visited Riverdell a couple of time now and it never fails to impress us, from the beautiful sunrises/sunsets, being local to so many great touristy places not to mention the great reply time and ability to communicate on Carolyn’s behalf, we will definitely be back many times more in the future! 🥰

Maleny - Upper Plateau, Riverdell
Nice and quiet
The upper plateau is an amazing spot, a bit sheltered up next to the the hill but amazing views. Reallt quiet and a ton of space between locations, highly recommend any site at Riverdell.

Maleny - Ocean View #1, Riverdell
This is our 2nd time back at the Riverdell farm and we can’t wait for our next visit. We stayed at the ocean view 1 site this time round which did not disappoint, the views were amazing. We bought some of the local Riverdell farm beef to cook on the fire too which was an added bonus and tasted amazing. Thanks again for the hospitality, we will be back again soon!

Maleny - Little Bunya, Riverdell
Little bunya
Loved camping here at little bunya site, it’s definitely not suitable for young children at this site as it’s on the edge of a cliff, potentially other sites are more appropriate. Nonetheless, amazing view, cows right next to our campsite and very peaceful.
