River Run Farm Camping is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mary River within the spectacular Fraser Coast region. The historic Maryborough town centre and the quaint village of Tiaro is right on our doorstep for anything you may have left behind or if you just feel like a country pub meal and a cold beer. We offer large grassy mowed sites both powered and unpowered, river front and tree shaded areas with some having their own fire pits. Fully equipped large camp kitchen with microwave, television, fridge, dart board, BBQ, communal firepit and power points to charge your devices and a Playground for the Kids. We offer the best hot showers with beautifully clean toilets; our amenities even contain a washing machine and a kid’s bathroom with a claw foot bath. A Dump point is located at the front of our property. River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, achidnia and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp. We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire. Book a horse riding adventure with Hucknall Horses only 10mins away or drive on up to Hervey Bay and go whale watching or day trip to the incredible Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach. 4wd in one of the many local forestry areas and see the brumby herds. Just so much to see and do.

RIVERFRONT Unpowered 39 (4wd Only)

We had a great time staying here. We booked sites 38 and 39 and enjoyed the layout of them with the firepit and proximity to the river. There was barely anyone else there for our entire stay and no-one down by the river except us which also enhanced the experience. You don't really need a 4WD to get down the bottom sites however may need a bit of momentum to clear the top of the hill when they have just laid fresh gravel (as they were doing when we were there) - especially if you are towing. The amenities block was clean and pleasant to use - albeit quite a walk from the riverfront sites (as advertised). There are however other sites much closer if thats what you are after. We also used the kitchen area on one occasion and it had what we needed and worked well. We would definitely stay here again!

Definitely stay here

A great spot by the river - about 50 minutes from Hervey Bay - if you want to stay somewhere quiet away from the crowds this is the place to do it. Hosts were lovely and the kitchen is clean and large. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained.

The facilities were amazing The property was so peaceful really nice with the boat on the river Really large allotments Very clean and tidy Fun for the kids and animal feeding on Saturdays a bonus

RIVERFRONT Unpowered 38 (4wD Only)

Overall we had a great time . Unfortunately the sites are too small and close to other campers , thought I could face my van at the river , so just looking at site next door .

Excellent location, we loved the open spaces, farm surroundings, feeding the animals. Camp kitchen was very functional and so were all the amenities. We enjoyed our stay at the River Run farm campground.
