If you are looking for a private camp site, without sacrificing luxuries, then we may have the place for you.  A large bell tent fitted out with a queen size mattress, a couch and floor cushions.  There are 2 fold out single beds if you wish to bring the kids (small additional charge for linen).  Plenty of 12vlt power for charging devices and lights.  An outdoor area with a large picnic table and camp chairs if you wish to use them.  The kitchen has a small basin and a bench, with a BBQ for cooking.  An Esky is available to keep your food and drinks cold.  The bathroom has a compost toilet and a private outdoor hot shower.  There is water plumbed to the site from our header tanks, which is fed from our potable well. We have built this campsite using things from our own property where possible, repurposed items, made things ourselves, bought from locals or had things made.  We like to invest in local businesses and attempt to use everything to the end of its life. The tent is a 6M bell tent, designed to withstand any weather. It has been tested in a severe storm and had no issues. It feels spacious and comfortable.    There is good reception for 3g and 4g, we don't have any issues streaming music.  We provide small Bluetooth speaker you can connect to. The location of the camp site is about 300m from the front of the property. During dry times you have glimpses of the road but normally the growth entirely hides the road. There is minimal noise from the road, although on weekends it is a favourite location for motorbikes, so you will occasionally hear the roar of a group going by. We are surrounded by active farms, so you may hear donkeys, cows, or tractors etc. in the distance at times.  There is a lot to do in a short distance from the campsite. Somerset and Wivenhoe dams are about half an hour away. Lake perseverance is only about 15minutes just up the range and a much more quiet option. Easy access to Toowoomba, Hampton and Ravensbourne.   Esk (less than 5 minutes drive) itself has races 4 times a year, a couple of great pubs, the garden festival in June, Country music festivals, camp drafts and more. Markets in Esk on Saturday and the well known Fernvale Markets on Sundays. There is horse-riding about 10 minutes and if you would like to do the Brisbane valley rail trail on foot, horse or cycle, local options are ready to help. The Trading post is an antique market that has a lot of history, and well worth a visit, as is Sue's place.  If you are super adventurous, you can jump out of a plane at Ramblers not far away. The property has a number of animals at any given time. We have run cattle, horses, chickens, and sheep. The cattle often run free, and so love to visit anyone at the site. Don't be concerned though, they are all hand raised so extremely friendly. We feed the cattle and the horses in the afternoons, and you are very welcome to join us if you would like some cuddles. We also often have young calves who we are hand raising, and we are happy to have you come and help feed them. If you bring children, they could collect some eggs, and during the warmer months, may experience some chicks hatching. We live on the property, in a cabin that is about 300m further up the hill. We are close by if you need anything.

Our Glamping experience was amazing! Such a beautiful setting with nothing but nature around. The Glamping tent was more then what I expected and super comfortable. Solar lights and fire pit at night really topped it off. Friendly host and already planning our next trip
