Project 166 is an Australian non-for-profit organisation countering Earth’s declining carbon-sequestering capabilities through a calculated method of tree planting. Since the industrial revolution, 375 billion tonnes of carbon has been emitted into our atmosphere. Repairing this damage is no small feat. Environmental scientists estimate that it will take the planting of 1.3 trillion trees to sequester the earth’s legacy carbon. This seemingly impossible task becomes manageable upon the realisation that all it takes is for every person, yes thats you, on this earth to plant 166 trees.Project 166 is a communal campsite with a kitchen are, communal firepit offering various forms of accommodation, including 3 camp huts, camp sites for caravans, camper trailers and tents
