Drive into Pittsworth to look at the monument of the Australian World Record Sprinter from the early 1900s, or look at the huge artwork/memorial of Moore’s Trailers. There is a rock fire pit available for campers to relax around in the evenings and enjoy the sunsets. Campers will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take their waste with them on departure. Pets are welcome, there is a friendly dog on the property so please ensure your pet is friendly before letting them off leash.

Really enjoyed staying here even though I was working. Was nice to come back to van and enjoy the sunsets. The animals were especially cute and friendly. Couple of nights by the fire were a bonus. Jason is super friendly and with Emma by his side I couldn’t have felt more welcomed. Thanks again guys😁

Overnight treat
We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Stone Throw Away. Jason was so hospitable and made us feel incredibly welcome. It was remarkable to hear his story and see how passionate he is about giving back to the community. We were spoilt with the chance to feed the baby animals, collect fresh eggs and have our puppy make friends with Jason's beautiful Kelpie Bruce. Gorgeous sunrise over a natural landscape, it was a quick stop but the retreat we were hoping for.

Cutest farm stay! Sunsets were aaaahmaZing! While it’s a small area with 2 sites we were lucky to have great fellow campers who enjoyed the communal fire pit. Dog friendly, but needs to be farm animal friendly. Little goats were super cute!

Secluded Paradise Under Stars & Fam
This hidden gem near Pittsworth exceeded all expectations! From the moment you pull onto the property, you'll be blown away by the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Stunning sunrises and sunsets paint the sky, making it the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. There's plenty of space to relax and set up camp, offering a true escape. At night, the stars are incredible, with minimal light pollution for amazing stargazing. The hosts were absolutely awesome! They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Their attentiveness truly made the experience even more relaxing. It's close enough to Pittsworth for a quick trip into town, but far enough away to feel like a true escape. But the real treat is being surrounded by friendly farm animals! I was absolutely blown away to see the hosts' ability to teach two calves to dance! Their playful frolicking in the pen was a delightful surprise and would be a guaranteed hit with any child. There's also a gentle ex-racehorse enjoying retirement, and a bunch of happy chickens clucking around, adding to the charm of the farm. Overall, this Hipcamp location near Pittsworth is fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and private caravaning getaway in a beautiful natural setting. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature, this is the perfect spot, especially for families with young children! I will definitely visit again.

farmstay
Jason was prompt and gave easy directions to his Hip camp. It is very convenient to Pittsworth and Toowoomba yet in the country. The farm animals and horse were lovely to have around and there were little calves on the ground. There is a lovely little Brooke an easy walk down the road to swim in. Jason was friendly and hospitable. Very peaceful spot to camp. Thank you!!
