This farm have been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

Bellbird Dam
Lynn is lovely and accomodating through messages, this was our second time visiting Namaste farm, sadly we weren’t as satisfied as the first time a couple of years ago. More signs labelling the camp sites would be ideal we just guessed where we were going for our site, only some have signs. The road is very narrow to drive along a stick was sticking out of the side and ended up scratching all the way down our car. Although we know to expect these things when 4x4 driving, I would have expected the property to be more maintained The property overall isn’t as maintained as it used to be, our previous site right next to the creek was fully overgrown with weeds as was most of the property. The dam at Bell Bird was so low it was just dirty and gross nothing great to look at especially with all the fallen dead trees and weeds everywhere, it was a breeding ground for insects. It was unfortunate the creek wasn’t running it was the main reasons we wanted to stay here to take the kids for a swim especially on such a hot weekend. It was secluded and away from other campers, probably not as flat as the photo suggests but we made it work. Mixed feelings about this site after this stay.

Harmony
Namaste 'Harmony' was a little disa
Overall we had a lovely experience. It was very serene and relaxing. Space between sites was very good - you didnt really know anyone else was around. Unfortunately we were disappointed that we were nowhere near any water (as per pics) and we were charged per person, per night. Where as all other sites have been per site. We did however go for a swim in the dam.

Peaceful relaxing place
Peaceful, relaxing, lovely listening to bird song from the verandah. Some walking trails around the property would be better.
