Powered Drive Thru Site
Convenient but Abbatoir nearby
The site was pretty good but more crowded and less natural than the eco camp style sites I prefer.
Totally practical, convenient access, and within range of domino’s delivery haha.
The abattoir smell was quite intense - manageable in my bus and tolerable considering I was just passing through.

Powered Grass Site
We weren’t happy there 🤢
It is very loud, the toilets and shower are in a container and the kitchen is very dirty. We left although we paid for 3 nights. 🤢

Site 20 - Spacious Grassed Unpowered Sites
Super noisy
Noisiest campsite we had on our trip; it felt like more of a shift workers camp than anything else- people coming & going at odd hours, in the kitchens & the showers.
Lovely staff in reception - very helpful.
Maybe check this place out if you’re a young international backpacker needing local work.
We only needed a quick overnight stay & we left early. Not for us.
Site 35 - Spacious Grassed Powered Sites
Not a bad site - best sites would be down the end near the creek, very busy park - caters more to the longer term workers looking for a base rather than families/tourists, not very private and a lot of come and go traffic late into the night/early morning.
