Mountview is a very special place having been in the family for over 120 years. The working farm is 650 acres of grain cropping and also runs a productive Charolais beef cattle stud. A central stopover point an easy 15 minutes from Toowoomba city and only a few kilometers off the New England Highway. Explore the local area with so many attractions and places to discover including the Darling Downs Zoo, The Historical Bull & Barley Inn, quaint little country towns, sunflower fields, Glengallan homestead, hiking tracks and so much more. Enjoy wide open spaces with magnificent views. Watch stunning sunsets, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, watch the night sky for a dazzling display of stars, hike or say hello to the many Charolais cattle on the property. You will have access to the facilities at the Ironbark Barn which include a pool table, dart board, television, kitchen and bar area, and hot shower and toilets. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, BBQ, dish-washing station and rubbish/recycling facilities. IMPORTANT; Please note to hook up to power you will need a lead of at least 30 meters. 15 amp power is supplied. Power is allocated on a first in best dressed preference. If you desperately require power please advise at the time of your booking and all efforts will be made to hook you up to power. Campers must arrive before 5pm to check in. A second visit to Mountview Farmstay with kids and it did not disappoint. Such a secluded and beautiful spot with amazingly kept facilities which make the camp so easy with little ones. Katrina is the best host on HipCamp!

Amazing! Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing. Katrina was such a brilliant host and person. Was looking for a getaway for a couple of nights with our toddler and this was perfect. With the zoo and toowoomba only a quick drive away it was close enough to get around while being far enough away to feel you were away from the hustle. Facilities were excellent and very well kept. Couldnt recommend enough.

We as a family really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and clean amenities. Katrina is lovely and very invested in her property. The children loved the facilities(pool table, swing, well maintained open areas and campfire) We will definitely return. Beautiful sunset and time of year! Thank you

Amazing sunset views!

We had a lovely weekend staying at Mount View. We were treated to amazing sunsets with gorgeous views. The kids had ample space to run around. Katrina was lovely and great to chat to about the farm and local area Absolutely recommend checking this spot out for a chilled weekend or for a base to explore Toowoomba and all the surrounding area.
