There are multiple tracks on the ten acres, which are suitable for mountain bike enthusiasts, and there is abundant wildlife living on the property. The vegetation is young regrowth forest composed mainly of wattle with some young planted bamboos.
The dam is not always full, but it is cool and refreshing when it is. The property is 33 kilometers from Ipswich and 63 kilometers from Brisbane City.

It is in close proximity to Ipswich and Brisbane, and the Plainlands Tavern, Woolworths, and Bunnings are just a short drive up the road. Minden has a petrol stop, and you can grab your morning coffee at Barb's Kitchen.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
