Mount Elliot Park is a working cattle property that offers a bush experience to approved individuals. Located in the Burdekin Shire we are based in one of Australia’s best Barra fishing and bird watching areas. Sites are based on a slashed grassed paddock with access to a clear flowing creek. Campers can relax with open fire and surrounded by the beautiful mountain backdrop.

Camp 4 Bob's Hole
Great to have close to Tville, makes for easy weekend get aways. Creek is nice, but will be more suited during wet season to allow a bit more water. Those with bigger set ups take caution when entering and exiting the property, not quite enough room to get off the road and have gate access to open/shut.

Camp 4 Bob's Hole
Weekend getaway
This was a great escape for the family for the weekend, less than an hour from Townsville. The water was fresh and amazing, looking forward to a return trip when the weather warms up more. The camp spot is close to the bank with a 10m steepish dirt path down the bank to the creek. There are mozzies as you would expect, but certainly nothing that a good repellent can help out with. We loved having a good campfire and doing some serious star gazing. Having Mt Elliot as a backdrop was pretty sweet also.

Camp 4 Bob's Hole
A gem of a place! Beautiful fresh water creek to cool off in and decent size camping area. Just make sure you pack plenty of insect repellents as the mozzie are thick especially on dusk.

Relax and forget the busy world
It was a great weekend, there are 4 sites but all isolated by bush which is good for privacy, the creek is amazing to just sit in and relax, and the dogs love the freedom to have a run or swim, it’s just so peaceful and relaxing and just sitting around a fire is magic, totally recommend this place to just relax in a bush camp. Thanks Natelee

One night wasn’t long enough!
What a great property! One night wasn’t long enough. Our spot was perfect with the kids and backdrop of the mountains was so beautiful. The kids loved the cattle and creek. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful site, very clean and well maintained. Nat provided great communication prior to my visit and was always prompt with replying to any questions I had. I will definitely be staying there again.
