Miallo Lakehouse is situated on a private farm allocated along a beautiful rainforest stream that is perfect for swimming and relaxing. The location is perfect as a base camp to explore this fantastic region, just 8 minutes from Mossman, 20 minutes from Port Douglas, and 20 minutes from the Daintree. Sites are located by the stream and are well-shaded in the afternoon and morning, but with enough sunny space to charge solar panels. Adjacent to the campsites are horse and cattle paddocks, where you'll see our animals grazing. All campers need to be self-contained with their own camp toilet. There is however water available. Well-behaved pets are welcome too!The site is limited to 5 creekside sites and 3 paddock close to creek sites, and only for self-contained campers. This means no on-site toilets or showers so those that don’t have that facility will need to book elsewhere Perfectly positioned between Port Douglas and The Daintree and minutes from the famous Mossman Gorge. After booking please contact with either Billy via mobile to get allocated a site number, to help find the perfect position along the creek so that your setup takes advantage of access to the creek and to the shade. There are friendly cows and horses nearby and the creek is crystal clear all year round and great for tubing down. Situated so there is no noise just peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings

Amazing location, we loved it so much we extended our stay an extra week! Definitely keep dogs on leads as there are nearby cane fields they can get lost in, as well as horses that come to visit the campsite. Bring something to float down the river on!!! Amazing fun. Lots of bugs at night, but we got used to living with them 😅 There is somewhere to discard your toilet happening only 8mins away in Mossman- super handy! A very peaceful place, highly recommend.

Loved it!
Amazing spot! Creek is crystal clear & perfect for swimming. Friendly host. Great location too, not far out of Mossman. Hope to be back one day. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful slice of heaven! Water is safe for swimming! Nice grassy area. We loved our stay here and will definitely book again on our way back down. We stayed 4 nights.

Right on the water!
We loved our short stay here with a beautiful site right on the water with so much room we didn’t need to unhitch from our van. We were even greeted by horses at the window in the morning!

The creek was absolutely gorgeous. We were in a camper trailer, due to the rain it wasnt as pleasurable, but bearable Sloppy ground. Day trip to Cape Tribulation was amazing, even in overcast weather. Also adventured the surrounding towns. Which were also great to see. Wasnt able to reach host at first ,he was on a flight, finally got back with directions and lot allocations.
