Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our property is 38 acres in size and is primarily used as an equestrian facility where coaching, clinics and training in dressage are conducted as well as providing agistment. The camping area is 100 metres or so from the nearest road and next to a dam and provides some of the most gorgeous sunsets around. Currently you will need to be self sufficient as we don’t have any toilet or shower facilities and we are still working on our shade with the trees having only just been planted. We are are only 2km from the Bruce hi-way and a comfortable 10 minute drive to the beautiful Bowen beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants making this a great spot to base yourself for your next Bowen getaway or if you are just passing through.Our property is 38 acres in size and is primarily used as an equestrian facility where coaching, clinics and training in dressage are conducted as well as providing agistment. We really enjoyed staying here. Beautiful and quiet only 10mins out of Bowen. Matt and Pamela were excellent hosts very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again one day.

Quiet overnight stay
This is a great overnight spot if passing through or a couple of days checking out the area. It’s close to Bowen maybe a 10 min drive. Because it’s an open paddock with a dam in the middle the sunsets over the mountains are beautiful. Great communication from Matt and we drove next to the stone causway so easy with our 23ft van. It’s not suitable if it’s wet but maybe Matt has a gravel pad for those times. No noise from traffic on the Collinsville Road. We will return as we travel a bit to Charters.

Great sunset views
Was the perfect stop over just arriving late afternoon into Bowen, the sunset was incredible over the mountains in the distance and the provided fire pit was a bonus to relax for the evening. Thanks Matt for sharing your space with us

Matt's place is well located to Bowen. Nice level land with fire pits provided and plenty of space, overlooking a small dam. its well priced and I felt very safe and secure and able to leave our van there while we explored the area. I would definitely stay here next time in Bowen

Farm stay close to Bowen.
We enjoyed our two nights on Matt’s property. Pleasant space next to the dam. Beautiful sunsets. Close enough to town to explore the beaches and gardens in Bowen easily.

Camping with the dog
Nice area to stop for a couple of nights and explore Bowen. Camping is near the dam but you must be fully self contained. The dog was able to wander around safely off lead which she enjoyed.
