Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Come say g'day to our camel Garfunkel (who loves carrots and leafy vegetables) or pat one of our friendly cows. Our property is 4WD access only. In wet weather it is highly recommended to have mud tyres and recovery gear. Tracks to the ridge sites can be rough at times. Most sites on our 340 acre property are on the ridge with views, so bring your camera. The sites are mostly level and mowed. Suitable only for campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower amenities and drinking water supply. We are located 45 mins from Brisbane city and 10 mins to Coles and BWS for all your supply needs. Dogs are very welcome but please do not allow to chase stock or wildlife. See you soon!

We camped on the city view and it was a lovely spot with great view. Had a great time. Unfortunately the weather was not in our side and was windy and stormy and we packed and left a day early, however all in all a lovely place. The camel and cows did visit us one day. A great spot for the dogs to run and chase a ball. Thanks Kelly.

City Views on the Ridge
This is my 4th trip to Lone Camel Bush Camp site. We really enjoyed our weekend. 15 min 4WD trip to the site is always enjoyable challenging. I drive Nissan X-Trail with AT tires without lifting up that is ok to drive the rough trail.

We meet Kelly on arrival, she gave up a map to get to our camp site. It was a nice little 4x4 session to get to our well maintained campsite. Really enjoyed our afternoon visit from all of the cows (they were so friendly), they even took over our evening camp fire😊. If you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of live and unwind, then this is the place for you.

Lily Pad Dam (not on the ridge)
We absolutely loved camping at the dam was a beautiful spot and we had soo much space to ourselves. The animals are absolutely amazing, we saw the camel multiple times and we had great cuddles with him. The dogs had the BEST time, we had 4 dogs with us and they just loved being there. We will definitely be back again.

What a special place! This is easily my favourite inland campsite around Brisbane. There's a fun drive in to the campsites which are all well spread out. Highly recommended.
