Runner up for the best caravan spots in Australia 2024 - Hipcamp Award Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage. Search for "Murphy's" through Hipcamp. Scenic Rim Regional Council Camp Ground Licence Acc21/0010. There are no facilities here, if you do not have toilet facilities please do not book any of our sties. Please arrive to camp prior to dark. Message host if you need to arrive later. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of distance between each site - no crowds. Each site is for your group only. Open for bookings for Christmas and New Year - numbers are limited. No large parties. We prefer to promote a quieter area. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Visit the historic Tamrookum All Saints Memorial Church. A large natural lagoon and the Logan River provide opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your numbers when making a booking) Pet friendly off-grid camping. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, our neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Enjoy our large camp sites with family and friends. Noise travels easily in the evening please reduce noise by 9pm. Larger groups welcome on some sites please message hosts. Firewood available, either book through Hipcamp or purchase direct at the farm. Tamrookum Store is 2 kilometres away for general goods, fuel and take away food.

Great campsite, nice and clean, away from other campers. Access for 2WD car was no problem at all. Libby is a great host!

Great spot
What a great spot! So relaxing and great to be able to fish and kayak right from the site. We caught a few carp, which was a lot of fun. So much room for the kids to run around and kick a ball and play. There isn't a lot of shade on this site and it was hot during the day, but that didn't stop us having a ball, we were prepared to forfeit a bit of natural shade for more water frontage to spread out and fish. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. We got firewood as part of the booking and you get lots for the price! A side note, it's a bit of a slope, so if you have a van or camper trailer, you may need to use a leveler, to get it spot on. We will be back for sure, such a great spot!
