*** PLEASE READ THIS*** Despite the detail below, people still make booking requests without confirming they are 4WD, not confirming their camping platform to ensure site suitability, or not booking extras such as Single Night Supplement. Please read all below and book accordingly. All UPDATES/NOTES listed below are in answer to common questions we are asked - please read all before requesting a booking, especially the need to confirm your 4WD status and camping platform at time of booking request. Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as at 5 August 2024: Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Kobble Creek West is readily accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting you. At this time (August 2024) the creek is dry and the lagoon is empty. Without further rains it will remain generally dry but will flow eventually with heavy downpours in the D’aguilar Ranges. Explore the trails by bike, or check out the hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek West which borders the property, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately. NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

A little expensive for what it is. Really nice people how ever the toilet was a bucket with a toilet seat. Proper bush camp.

Had a good time camping here! Great hospitality from the host, helped us make sure we had no troubles getting to our site and made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend having a walk around this property if you camp here as you can find some awesome views and get yourself some nice exercise! It is very quiet at night time which makes it super peaceful to sit around a campfire and relax. At this particular spot we woke up to some cows Mooing which was nice! Overall a good, relaxing experience here. Definitely recommend!

Super close to the city, nice spot.
Nice and private. Great hospitality from young Toby. I prefer Hicamp to regular camping, to get somewhere nice and quiet without the rowdy parties.

Grassy Spur 1
A nice private spot, as we had the whole grassy spur to ourselves. Marcaus was very friendly, informative and accomodating. Perfect for a night away from the hustle and bustle.

Grassy Spur 1
Excellent short camping trip at Kobble Creek Family Farm. Marcaus was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. His son Toby welcomed us, he was very friendly and provided all the info we needed. Grassy Spur must be the best campsite on the property, we’ll definitely be back!
