*** PLEASE READ THIS*** Despite the detail below, people still make booking requests without confirming they are 4WD, not confirming their camping platform to ensure site suitability, or not booking extras such as Single Night Supplement. Please read all below and book accordingly. All UPDATES/NOTES listed below are in answer to common questions we are asked - please read all before requesting a booking, especially the need to confirm your 4WD status and camping platform at time of booking request. Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as at 5 August 2024: Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Kobble Creek West is readily accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting you. At this time (August 2024) the creek is dry and the lagoon is empty. Without further rains it will remain generally dry but will flow eventually with heavy downpours in the D’aguilar Ranges. Explore the trails by bike, or check out the hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek West which borders the property, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately. NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

Nice spot, the creek isn't as accessible as hoped, very friendly hosts. Definitely 4WD access only.

Very helpful and professional. Marcus helped us access a site as we didn't have a 4wd.

Camping perfection!
Our first camping experience couldn't have been better, all thanks to Marcus and his wonderful family. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. Marcus was incredibly accommodating, even allowing us to change our camping spot at the last minute, which really showed his flexibility and dedication to making sure his guests have the best experience possible. The warmth of his hospitality extended throughout our stay, and as a lovely gesture, his family served us the most delightful lattes at the end of the trip—a perfect way to wrap up our time there. And their adorable puppy, Dotty, was the highlight of our stay—such a playful and expressive little soul! She added so much joy to our time there, and we loved every moment spent with her. The camping spot itself was nothing short of perfect. The location had everything we could have asked for: a beautiful pond, a cozy fireplace for those chilly evenings, and the most spectacular view of the night sky for stargazing. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birds and the tranquil scenery around us was the best way to start each day. Overall, the experience was beyond our expectations. Marcus and his family truly know how to create a welcoming, comfortable, and memorable camping getaway. We couldn’t recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a serene and friendly place to connect with nature. Thank you for making our first camping trip such a special one—we’ll definitely be back!

Marcus and family were wonderful hosts, friendly welcoming and super helpful! The site was stunning, beautiful views, peaceful and fun to drive the 4WD across the tracks. My little girl loved feeding the animals with Jack. Would highly recommend- we will be back again to visit :)
