This beautiful 200-acre property is the perfect place to get away from it all. We have a hilltop area where you can view the sunrise from the east and the sunset in the west, with absolutely no light pollution. On a clear night, the galaxy is astounding to view. The property has multiple areas of creek frontage with both kid and adult-friendly swimming areas. There is a good area for using a small kayak (depending on the creek levels) or floating along on an inner tube, and beautiful views and wildlife abound. You may even get a visit from our beautiful king parrots. You can also enjoy bushwalking, birdwatching, and fishing, and there are even deer on the property, but they’re rarely seen. If you’re keen, you can take your 4WD to the end of Emu Creek Road, where you can start your trek up to the old plane wreck. Bushwalking to the Steamers (for the very experienced) can be accessed at the end of Emu Creek Road. We are a working cattle farm and have around 40 head of cattle.

Blackberry creek
Shelley was so helpful in organising our stay. It is a beautiful and peaceful spot. The stars were spectacular. It's a perfect location to stay before hiking the steamers in main range national park. Thanks Shelley and Kev!

Perfect Getaway!
My family and I recently had the pleasure of camping at Kev and Shelley's property for the second time, and it was an unforgettable experience! Nestled by a serene creek, this campsite is a true hidden gem. Thank you for the tour of the property, we loved it :)

The Pump House
Thank you again Kev for having stay on your property! We had one of the most relaxing trips in ages, really great spot to unwind and get away from busy life. Loads of space and really quiet, we will definitely be back for a swim in the creek in warmer weather.

Hilltop Hood
A premium slice of earth with 360 degree views and not a soul in sight. Kev and Shelley were most welcoming and clearly love and care for their land. The climb up to the site was fine (without a trailer). The winds were rather random oscillating from dead calm to omnidirectional bullets. Best make sure your setup can cop a solid belting as the site’s properly exposed (which is why it’s so magnificent).

We absolutely love camping at Kimblehurst. Kev is friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Kimblehurst is a great base camp to explore Warwick and surrounds. Love the river and the national park nearby
