Welcome to Juburra, (pronounced Jew-ba-ra) our working cattle farm and your serene escape just an hour from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We pride ourselves on offering exclusive campsites nestled amongst the gum trees or by the gentle flows of Alan Creek a world away from other campers and public.
Juburra is conveniently located an hour from Brisbane between Beaudesert and Boonah, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking a quick escape to nature without a long drive. Despite its proximity to the city, Juburra feels worlds away, offering a peaceful retreat from everyday life.
Beaudesert and Boonah conveniently host a range of shops for any last minute snacks (think roasted marshmallows), beverages or a hearty pub meal.

Juburra Country Camping offers a truly serene and private escape, perfect for those looking to enjoy nature with their furry friends. Many campers appreciate the seclusion and the chance to cool off in the creek, though some noted minor road noise. The hosts, Michael and Kate, are praised for their excellent communication and helpfulness, ensuring guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay. Despite occasional challenges with signage or site access, the overall experience is very positive, with many campers eager to return.
One of our favourite hipcamps ever!! Even a week after the cyclone hit, this campsite was immaculate and the river was so full. We had our two large dogs that had endless space to run around off leash and also extremely kid friendly with lots of wildlife spotting.
Will absolutely recommend to anyone.
Thank you Kate for being an amazing host.
Extremely private site right on the creek.
An abundance of wildlife.
Dogs had a great time exploring the area.
Little bit of road noise.
Would def like to come back and try out some of the other sites.
My partner and I had an amazing weekend at Juburra Country Camping, our campsite “The Train Station” was great fun to get to and an awesome stay 🙌🏼 the track up to the campsite is for people who want to add a little bit of excitement and adventure to there camping trip and it didn’t disappoint. With the right Vehicle and a little bit of 4wd experience you shouldn’t have any trouble reaching the top and it is well worth it, the most spectacular daytime and nighttime views await you and the privacy was second to none, there’s even a chain gate with a lock that only you have access to your entire stay.
We didn’t meet our hosts but communication was fantastic and directions to the site were easy to follow.
Kate was wonderful even messaging us to make sure we made it up ok.
I would highly recommend to just book it and see for yourself. We will definitely be back again soon. Thanks Michael and Kate for an incredible weekend away. 🤩
What a special place to camp. I had the whole hill to myself looking out at Green hills and waking up to hot air balloons at sunrise. Perfect weekend getaway.
