We are relatively new, however you can see campers love it. Hillcrest Farm was established in 1876. It's a quiet, spacious and relaxing spot only minutes to Toowoomba where you'll find lots of weekend markets and other attractions. We have 20 beautiful acres here, with several acres in the middle and the back of the property ideal for setting up camp. The land is mostly level, with trees scattered throughout, and all areas have lovely farm views. Whether your on the hill with 360-degree views looking over the campfire while watching the sunset or in the paddock, amongst the trees, you will have space to relax We have 40 sheep on the property, and often lots of lambs which can be seen at any time. We also have 10 antique tractors, and other old farm equipment, which add to the eclectic farm charm. We also have lots of residential wildlife, including kangaroos and plenty of birdlife, such as kookaburras, cockatoos, galahs, finches, Wrens, Willy wagtails, parrots and more. All guests need to be self-sufficient, with their own toilet, shower and power There are toilets at the park in Wyreema 3k Local shop just up the road for basic essentials and fuel, plus there are great pub meals nearby at the Bull n Barley(sorry no dogs) - 8 minutes drive away. Rudds Pub (dogs ok) great meals. Otherwise, cook at camp by the campfire, watching the sunset. September Carnival of Flowers in Toowoomba. Always something to do around, or just sit and relax. This was a lovely site, beautiful views, well kept, water supply at the upper sites and a big fire circle. There was abundant bird life to observe and cute lambs in the paddock.

Fantastic place to camp!
Really enjoyed my stay at Hillcrest - only 20mins from Toowoomba which was very convenient! I asked Kerry & Paul if I could please camp away from anyone else, so they put me down on the plain, and placed a firepit there for me to use as well which was very thoughtful. Before I arrived they asked if I would like a small tractor basket of firewood delivered to my site for $30, which I opted for, and it was a decent amount and there at my site when I arrived - a lovely touch! When Kerry & Paul got home that evening they came over to my caravan to introduce themselves (such a lovely, friendly couple!) and went above and beyond with helping me with a couple of things during my stay. They also allowed me to have a group of family friends over for a fire on hilltop one night when no one else was camping there, which we loved, and now my friends want to camp there someday too! Only thing to note is that you get a little bit of noise from the road during the day (it's not too bad) and the wind can pick up too. But overall a great spot to camp and I'm already planning my next trip to Hillcrest! Definitely recommend!

Lovely quiet spot, beautiful views, amazing sunrises and sunsets. We were fortunate enough to hold a new born lamb. Great base to discover Toowoomba and the carnival of flowers.

Views for days
High on the hill there are views for miles-such a great spot. Would definitely come back. Only 20 mins from town and close to get to Tbar bypass. Farmer Paul also brought us a day old lamb for the kids to pat-very welcoming. Thanks for a great stay.
