Guppy Gully is a part of a working dairy farm on the Mary River situated in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland near Kenilworth. We have 4 sites with direct river frontage for self-contained caravans, campers and tents. Most of the sites have the capacity to fit numerous vans. Fire pits are provided at all sites. All weather 2wd access road. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL Waste. For the consideration of other campers and my neighbours please be mindful of noise levels. Firewood available by the bag to purchase. Smoking discouraged for the comfort of guests. The Mary River water level is determined by rain fall. We are just 10 mins down the road from Booloumba Creek and Falls and the famous Kenilworth Bakery. Kenilworth and 10 minutes from Conondale National Park and the Booloumba Creek and Falls. The farm has been in my family for nearly 80 years, four generations and these campsites have been hosting people for a very long time. I remember staying there as a little girl with a girl guide group.

No problems with the overall experience. The no.2 site was spacious with nice shade, and it's not far to drive to some other attractions. However we were a bit disappointed with the river at the property - it lacks natural riparian vegetation along the banks, quite a bit of Cobblers Pegs (exotic weed), and is very shallow, so not really any good for swimming, and you couldn't go very far kayaking without having to stop and drag it.

Perfect hidden spot
Lovely scenic area with plenty of room to set up camp and far away enough from other campers. My dogs loved swimming in the river!

Nice, large, grassy sites beside the Mary river. Sites are well spaced apart. Easy, clear directions from Kacey. Firewood supplied in bags at each site for a small fee - good idea! Great base to visit Maleny and Kenilworth. Thanks for a nice, relaxing couple of days :)

Restful Retreat
What a lovely spot nestled in the Hinterland on the Mary River . Ample space to camp for either yourself or groups . Close to either Kenilworth or Maleny for a food trail but still secluded and a great escape . Great view and always nice to find a camp that’s pet friendly. The bird life will amaze you and is an enthusiast delight . Pelicans , crows , magpies , Kookaburras, robins , wrens & finches galore. We were treated to 2 stunning rainbow Bee-Eaters on their foraging for the insect swarms . Highly recommended
