Our names are Chris and Christine. We recently moved to Gundiah Qld and acquired a beautiful piece of land (approx. 320 acres) with about 70 acres of picturesque camping located on the Mary River. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough (approx. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful. We have plenty of walking trails and a bike track to keep the kids amused! There is easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing or swimming. Keep your eye out for the platypus and turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay, 45 minutes from Maryborough and the town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road.

Really friendly couple. Very accommodating. Beautiful spot down on the river. In one morning managed to see a platypus, white breasted sea eagle, turtles, cows, wallabies and plenty of other birdlife.

Platypus, Bass, Wallaby and Turtles
Another wonderful stay. The platypus showed up regularly (though best to try see them before 7am) and the turtles showed up as well as a wallaby with a joey. Toilets and showers were clean and well kept and the property well maintained. We fished and caught Bass, and took the SUP up the river. We'll be back again!

Beautiful camp spot with lots of spacious areas to choose from. Owners were lovely and when we asked if we could buy some wood he went and grabbed us a whole heap and told us where to find more if we ran out. Will definitely be visiting there again
