Located on the outskirts of Tara in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, you will be able to camp in this great spot.
There are lots of native tree species including Gumtrees, Wattle, Paper bark, and Ironbark.
Campers are welcome to enjoy the dam, where you can swim and use the paddleboard and oars provided (please bring your own life jacket). You can also catch yabbies in the dam!
There are some tracks for bushwalking and bike riding.
Campers will be able to spot wildlife, in particular native birds.
15 minutes drive will get you to the town of Tara where there is chops, cafes and a golf course.
