20 Vehicle/Tent sites
GSM Bamboo Farm has 28 acres of bamboo, mango trees, and paddocks.
We are nestled beneath the Bauple mountains and national park just off the A1 highway.
The tiny township of Bauple with its museum and quaint village atmosphere is only 5 minutes away. This is where the Bauple Nut or macadamia nut originated from.
Ten minutes north we have the township of Tiaro with its coffee shops, Christmas shop, hippie shop, and old hotels.
We have many sites on our property where you can camp in amongst the beautiful setting of bamboo groves, or next to one of the dams where the friendly geese swim.
During the wet season our natural creek runs through the property where it’s a pleasure to camp next to and listen to the sounds of the water against the rocks.
The view of the mountain behind us is especially thrilling at sunset and on a bright full moon night is quite magical.
Campers please be aware you must be self contained as we have not yet constructed an amenities block.Park your RV, Caravan or pitch your tent in your own private grove amongst the bamboo. We try to keep each site private to another.
This is a fully fenced property and once inside we ensure the gate is locked after hours. So your security is protected and if you have any issues there is always someone on-site who can assist.
Some sites have a view of the Bauple mountains and national park others are surrounded by bamboo or mango trees.Yet others are next to the creek that runs through the property during the wet season.
Campers please be aware you must be self contained with your own toilet/shower facilities as we have not yet constructed an amenities block.
There is a dam with over 20 ducks and geese which the children love to feed by hand. During the mango season you can pick your own mangoes straight off the trees.
The nearest coffee shop and store is 10 minutes away in Tiaro, feel free to leave your caravan etc here and venture into the the township for your early morning caffeine or visit the museum in the quaint village of Bauple just 5 minutes across the highway.
