Greenview Camping has enough space for large caravans/campers and is ideal for groups of campers to get together and enjoy the open space. The open space area can fit groups of up to 10-15 caravans or camper trailers. It is also an ideal flat area for tents and swags. To ensure you have the space to yourselves we have listed it as one site. This site is located on a large grassed area away from main house. Quiet, peaceful and secluded camping area on the property. Enjoy a paddle or swim in the dam. Watch the beautiful sunsets and enjoy a camp fire in designated area. We have firewood available on site. It's a cash honesty box for how much you use. We have a 40 acre property at Traveston. Beautiful drive through Mary valley hinterland. We are a 20 minute drive to Gympie where you can enjoy the Historical Steam Train "The Mary Valley Rattler" Pomona Distilling Co 15 minute drive. Beautiful food and an extensive array of drinks. Relaxed atmosphere, kids welcome. If you enjoy hiking you can climb Mount Cooroora in Pomona National Park. Magnificent view from the top. Campers have access to a toilet but no showers Pets permitted but we ask you keep them on a leash or contained at campsite to protect wildlife and cattle on the property. Please advise ETA so we can greet you on arrival and show you to your campsiteSet up camp on large flat grassed areas with a tent, swag, camper trailer or caravan. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Large campsite to enjoy the seclusion. Light a fire, sit back and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Swim or paddle in the 2 dams on the property. There is a wide range of wildlife that visit our property, including kangaroos, hares and lots of birds. We also have cattle on the property (but not in the camp grounds). We have now added new toilet block, (March 2024) which has 2 flushing toilets and 1 shower. Cold water shower at this stage. Photos in album. Recently added small swing set for children and a large range of push bikes for people to enjoy for free. See photos attached in album. We are a short drive from Gympie and Noosa if you would like to do some site seeing.

Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us. Jackie and Alan were the most accommodating and genuine hosts, nothing was too much trouble. So much for the kids to do, they didn’t want to come home. We are already discussing the next trip!

Perfect camp site
Greenview was amazing! Such a beautiful property and peaceful place for a getaway. We had our annual family camping trip (10 people, 3 dogs) here a few weeks ago (September 2024) and before we even left the family was trying to organise when we can come back. It poured rain the first day but because of the shelter it didn't diminish our experience at all. Other facilities such as hot shower, toilet, fire pit area make it feel like it's practically glamping so it's the perfect place for all levels of camping enthusiasts. Will definitely be back.

Camping by water, cows, kangaroos
Very big (like an event size) grassy camping area right beside a dam covered in water lillies. Attached undercover area with a beautiful firepit right next to it with log benches to sit around. Firewood is provided (pay cash). Swingset for kids to play. Cows grazing across the dam, a few kangaroos and kookaburras. Flushing toilets x 2 and a warm/hot shower. Hot Showers are $2. Everything onsite is solar powered, so be conservative. Our weather was around 33c days, but Alan was generous providing us with a large water sprinkler for 1hr in the afternoon. We smashed a game of cricket under the sprinkler - which was great fun. I enjoyed being the only group of campers on the whole of the property and had the privacy all to ourselves letting the kids roam around and having our dog off the leash. Highly recommended campsite. Would definitely consider visiting again. Thank you again Jackie and Alan for sharing this piece of paradise with us.

Private Paradise by the Dam
A beautiful, tranquil setting that we enjoyed all to ourselves, only ONE site. The property was mowed, the grass was like lawn. Large flat area for camping, room to spread out. The owner's house is up on the hill so there is privacy. The small dam provided a relaxing setting and we spent hours watching the birds, fish, turtles, kangaroos, cows and other life. Flushing toilets and warm shower (small cost) were very clean. Firepit was awesome. Firewood for a fee (donation box, take cash). It was very dry wood and burnt well, our fire was great. We stayed 3 nights which was the perfect amount of time. Would recommend this place.
